Creating a golf simulator room in your home requires some space, but the flexibility of our system allows for easy installation in a wide range of areas, from your garage to your basement. The conditions for installation are not stringent, making it accessible for anyone to set up and enjoy golfing effortlessly.
Although the Wiz-I Launch Monitor is capable of tracking the golf ball in ANY space, we recommend following room requirement.
Height: 8.5′ – 10.5′ (feet)
If you have a higher ceiling than 10.5′ (feet), Wiz-I can be mounted on an extension pole to bring the installation heigh to 10.5′
Width: 10′ – 20′ (Feet)
If you are planning on using the Wiz-I for single dexterity only (Right OR Left), you can offset the Wiz-I accordingly. However, for both dexterities, we recommend at least 14′ of space for safety and comfort.
Depth: 10′ – 20′ (feet)
Safety first! to avoid the ball ricochet, we recommend at least 8′ of space between the impact screen and the hitting point.
Here’s how the math works: Space between the wall behind the impact screen, 1.5′ (Feet) + space between the impact screen to golfer 8′-10′ (Feet) + Safety clearance behind the golfer 6′-10′ (Feet) = Total 15.5′ – 21.5′ (Feet)
